Local firm McCoskers Partners is the latest addition to join Bentleys Newcastle, and has serviced the greater Newcastle and Hunter regions since 1982.

The acquisition brings the Bentleys Newcastle team to 25 members in total, including four local directors dedicated to servicing the region.

Richard McArtney, director of Bentleys Newcastle, said that the expansion has eventuated as a result of business growth within regional areas, and a move towards improved economies of scale for clients.

“Together we will offer clients over 85 years of public accounting experience, and offer a full range of services to our clients including business valuations and mentoring, franchising advice, SMSFs, audit and tax and compliance,” Mr McArtney said.

Mark Chapman, Bentleys executive officer identified the Newcastle area as a key to the strategic growth of the firm as a whole.

“It’s important to Bentleys as a network that we maintain and grow our presence across Australia’s thriving regional areas in addition to the metropolitan hubs.”

“The growth in Newcastle is key to our strategic growth, and we look forward expanding our services for clients in the area.”

The latest acquisition follows expansion into Perth and the Sunshine Coast, with Bentleys Perth acquiring specialist advisory firm Australian Superannuation & Compliance (ASC), and PWA Financial Group joining the firm as Bentleys Sunshine Coast.
