Following its alignment with global accounting alliance MGI in February 2015, Joyce Dickson has announced that it will rebrand the firm to MGI Joyce Dickson, as well as relocate to new premises in order to accommodate growth.
Speaking to AccountantsDaily, Lorin Joyce, managing partner of Joyce Dickson, stated that the MGI brand will allow for significant growth in the Canberra region, and provide access to global specialist services for prospective clients.
“We’re the first MGI in Canberra, so we’re looking forward to building the brand,” said Mr Joyce.
“We feel that as the brand becomes better known, the Canberra market will have a better appreciation of what they can offer.”
With a relocation to a larger premises, Mr Joyce added that growth is firmly on the agenda for the firm in 2016.
Grant Field, chairman of MGI Australasia stated that the rebrand and expansion of MGI Joyce Dickson coincided with a year of strong growth for the MGI Australasian network as a whole, and flagged New Zealand expansion as a target for 2016.
“We’re looking to continuing that steady growth throughout 2016 with an aim of doubling in size over the next few years.
“With currently just one partner firm in New Zealand, this region is also going to be a key focus for us,” Mr Field concluded.
