Ken Weldin will assume the role of audit and assurance partner for PKF in Melbourne, boasting over twenty years' experience working across a range of industries, and advising clients in the listed environment as well as the unlisted and public sectors.
"In the current environment, it is key for us to demonstrate a strengthening of our marketing offerings and to provide our clients with access to best-in-class support and advice," stated PKF Australia chairman Norm Draper.
Mr Weldin joins the firm from EY, where he worked for 11 years, acting as a director in the Melbourne risk advisory practice, as well as most recently heading up EY's corporate governance service offering across Australia, attempting to deliver financial reporting and process improvement solutions.
“Ken’s arrival strengthens our capability in audit and assurance in Melbourne as well as bringing a strong governance, risk and compliance skill set that allows him to provide practical solutions for boards, committees and management teams to improve the effectiveness of their decision-making processes," Mr Draper added.
“This gives him a unique perspective on the challenges our clients are facing both today and into the future, as they look to grow and succeed.
"Working with our teams both in Melbourne and nationally will deepen our capability and bring value to PKF’s clients. I am pleased to welcome Ken to PKF.”
