In a collaborative partnership with Australian assessment company Talegent, the big four firm has developed a game-based assessment experience for all budding applicants to complete.
The interactive experience seeks to simulate real-life work scenarios that applicants can expect to encounter at Deloitte, as well as offering insights into the way that the firm works and the areas of talent that it is looking to invest in.
Deloitte noted that the development of the experience was made solely with the next generation in mind, a generation brought up against a backdrop of sweeping technological change.
“Today’s applicants have grown up with interactive online games. We wanted to give them a truly unique experience, and one that they could genuinely relate to, when applying for a role with Deloitte,” said Tanyth Lloyd, Deloitte national talent acquisition and mobility director.
“The assessment not only enables us to gather additional data on their skills, but offers insights for them into what it would be like to work for Deloitte.”
Deloitte’s latest graduate program opened on 17 February and all applicants will experience the new interactive assessment process.
The revamped applicant process follows the firm’s recognition as the number one accountancy and financial management sector graduate employer, as deemed by recruitment provider GradAustralia.
