According to a statement, Wangara-based Pursuit Group saw the opportunity to become part of Carbon as a way to offer their clients extra service.
This is Carbon's latest acquisition, having previously purchased accounting firms in Ellenbrook, Bibra Lake and Midvale, all in WA, the statement said.
Principal of Pursuit Group Karl Jackson said the acquisition will mean that Pursuit's clients will have easy access to an extended list of business services.
"Pursuit have seen tremendous success in recent years but, in the current market, we had to have a competitive advantage over other accounting firms," Mr Jackson said.
Carbon co-founder Nathan Hood said the acquisition was exciting for the group and aligns with their aspirations to be Australia’s leading accounting provider.
"We continue to offer a different approach to accounting," Mr Hood said.
"We’re focused on bringing back the old-school ways of exceptional client service in the way of providing our clients a forward-thinking approach to tax planning and CFO services."
