The mid-tier announced the appointment of Eric Maillard as partner in its business advisory services division this week.
Mr Maillard has over 20 years’ experience in business services and has previously worked at both Shadforth and Deloitte. He has also worked as client director at BDO Kendalls.
Managing partner of HLB Mann Judd Melbourne, Jeff Long, said Mr Maillard’s appointment enhances the firm’s strategy of growing its business advisory division.
“We are particularly pleased that Eric chose to move to HLB Mann Judd above other possible second-tier and mid-tier suitors due to our longstanding reputation as a firm offering outstanding service to private clients for the past 35 years,” Mr Long said.
“Eric has a successful track record dealing with the usually complex and stressful issues of business succession, family law support and the buying and selling of businesses, while delivering the usual tax compliance services with a genuine, personal, caring, fun approach.
“He will also be bringing across a number of his experienced team.”
Mr Maillard said he had been looking to move back to a mid-tier firm after working with private clients for over 20 years.
