Sequel VCFO announced the launch of its franchisee business today and said it will provide finance professionals the opportunity to build their own businesses.
The firm is looking for potential franchisees who are financial controllers or CFOs, restructuring or insolvency professionals, senior members of traditional accounting firms and finance professionals who have previously owned SMEs.
Speaking to Accountants Daily, Sequel VCFO chief executive David Boyar said the firm has already received a lot of interest, with 11 professionals expressing their interest in purchasing a franchise.
Mr Boyar said franchising will allow the firm to “scale up quickly while ensuring the partners who have come on board are invested in and rewarded for [the firm’s] combined success”.
“We understand that running a business is hard, and starting one is even harder. However, we are determined that we can unlock the potential in finance professionals with the tools, processes and a network that we are able to provide,” said Mr Boyar.
