Accountants Daily is pleased to announce that the 2017 Australian Accounting Awards will be introducing an ‘auditor of the year’ category.
“Many of our readers have been in touch to sing the praises of their peers in the auditing industry,” said head of partnerships at Accountants Daily, Terry Braithwaite.
“This year, the Australian Accounting Awards wants to recognise the auditors who are setting a benchmark for professionalism and innovation in the industry,” he said.
“Auditors have a tough job in the face of digital disruption and ever-complex regulatory and legislative guidance and updates. Those who are on top of their game are making a real difference to their clients and their firm,” he added.
Submissions for the Australian Accounting Awards are open until March 10, and accounting professionals are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to showcase their skills and reputation on a national scale.
“There are many outstanding professionals and firms in the accounting industry, and these awards provide an opportunity for these individuals to gain recognition from both their peers and their clients,” said Mr Braithwaite.
“This sort of recognition directly benefits firms by helping them attract and retain quality staff, referral relationships and clients,” he said.
This year, a record 29 categories are on offer, with new categories including advocacy initiative of the year, to recognise the work of firms who are going above and beyond to champion important causes.
Accountants Daily has also opened the executive and partner of the year categories to recognise a broader range of senior managers.
