Carbon Group has officially locked in a merger with Melbourne-based Books in Shape.
The team from Books in Shape, including managing director Keith Berry, will join Carbon’s Melbourne operations.
Carbon’s Melbourne operations is currently led by Allison Gardiner. Ms Gardiner merged her business, BAS Attack, with Carbon in 2017.
“Melbourne is ... about to hit the five million mark. If its current growth rate continues, Melbourne will soon outgrow Sydney in terms of population. This provides a huge opportunity for Carbon to build its presence as a preferred service provider to the small business community. It’s a very exciting time for us here at Carbon,” said Ms Gardiner.
In a statement released this week, Carbon reiterated plans to launch “hubs” in each Australian state, following what has been four years of aggressive growth since launch in 2014.
