The Bookkeeper understands Receipt Bank locked in the appointment of Vicky Skipp as vice president of sales for Asia Pacific several weeks ago. The company confirmed the appointment publicly today.
Before a parental leave stint, Ms Skipp was LinkedIn’s director for sales solutions in the Asia Pacific region. She replaces Sophie Hossack, who will be moving back to the United Kingdom to take on a new senior role with Receipt Bank.
Ms Skipp will be looking to lead the company’s expansion into the Asia Pacific and Japan, although a spokesperson stressed to The Bookkeeper that its core focus will remain on the bookkeeping and accounting industry.
“We have seen rapid growth in Australia and New Zealand since the opening of our Sydney office in 2013 and we want to continue building on this success,” said chief executive of Receipt Bank Alexis Prenn.
“Vicky’s experience of leading global technology companies in the region makes her the ideal person to accelerate this growth and lead us into new markets. We are driving change in the accounting and bookkeeping industry and Vicky’s attitude and track record match that approach perfectly.”
