The ranking is based on LinkedIn’s Content Marketing Score, which measures the effectiveness of a company’s content marketing efforts on the social media platform.
Jillian Bowen, content and social media manager at CPA Australia, said the association is always looking for ways to connect and drive better awareness of the benefits of the CPA Australia designation.
“The challenge is finding these various audiences, and sharing content with them that relates to their particular career experiences and interests,” she said.
“We’ve found that LinkedIn gives us powerful options for targeting our messages, and for delivering high levels of ongoing engagement. It’s a very productive partnership and we're delighted to be listed as one of the top 10 most engaged brands."
Matthew Tindale, director of marketing solutions for LinkedIn Australia and New Zealand, said the extent to which brands have embraced LinkedIn’s content marketing features across Australia and New Zealand demonstrates the hunger for such a platform for professionals.
“That our platform is also backed up with data-driven measurement tools is also of significant value,” he said.
“Our membership base in Australia is increasing its active engagement with brands on LinkedIn, which is providing terrific value for member professionals and businesses alike."
The 10 most influential brands in Australia as ranked by LinkedIn are:
• CPA Australia
• Cerebral Palsy Alliance
• ANZ
• Commonwealth Bank
• BT Financial
• Telstra
• Virgin Australia
