The professional association will launch modernised learning techniques for all subjects that will see webinars delivered in short 10 to 15 minute sessions. They will also be reinforced with additional resources such as live Q&A sessions with a subject matter expert and checkpoint quizzes.

According to the Tax Institute, each module is clearly defined to focus on a single topic that supports the way the brain learns and how we transfer newly learned information to long-term memory.
Each module focuses on a key concept, how the law is applied in practice supported by case studies, readings and practical activities accessible on the Tax Institute’s learning portal.
Traditional methods such as face-to-face classes will not be replaced, with the new initiative offering learners the option to log onto their device at any time and access small, focused modules at a time and place that’s convenient.
Accountants Daily understands there will be no planned fee increases in light of the new learning options.
The Tax Institute’s head of education, Professor Robert Deutsch said the modern method would allow greater flexibility to learn shorter segments on the go, or as unfamiliar topics are encountered day to day, to cater to busy tax professionals.
“The increased flexibility of our education offering translates into a more effective and engaging experience for our learners,” said Professor Deutsch.
“It has allowed us to extend access of quality content so that tax professionals can learn anytime, anywhere. We are committed to advancing education in relation to taxation and taxation law.”
