Pitcher Partners has appointed Campbell Gould, who will be re-joining the firm as a partner in the private business and family advisory team, providing tax compliance, planning and advisory services.

Mr Gould is an alumnus of Pitcher Partners, having worked with the firm as a tax adviser from 2000 to 2005 before moving to Moore Stephens until 2010.

He then moved to William Buck as a tax adviser before leaving to manage his own firm, Unity Advisers, over the past seven years.

His recent consultancy assignments include advising on the recent changes to employee share schemes and advice on taxation of financial arrangements.

Pitcher Partners believes Mr Gould’s experience will allow him to provide specialist advice to a portfolio of mid-market clients that are growing, expanding, consolidating or looking to exit.

Mr Gould said it made sense to return to a firm he knows and trusts.

“Pitcher Partners has the infrastructure to best support my clients and my personal growth aspirations,” Mr Gould said.

“Client care and support is at the heart of what we do, and it is this philosophy that reigns strong at the Pitcher Partners Sydney firm.

“The middle market has done it tough this year and it is more important than ever that we are here to assist our clients navigate unprecedented challenges, but also new opportunities.”
