Discussing the appointment, Mr Dall said he is thrilled to have joined the firm and excited to make the move from a big four environment to that of the mid-tier.
“Coming out of the big four, there is a real sense here that partners’ destiny is in their own hands – I think this sharpens the focus in thinking about how we can help and deliver solutions to our clients," he said.
"I also believe that we’re well-placed to deliver better value.
“Pitcher Partners has an outstanding reputation with a formidable depth of talent in the partner group and its wider teams. I’m thrilled to be joining," he said.
In the last 12 months, the Pitcher Partners Association has announced six new partner appointments in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, bringing the total number of partners to 91. The firm has also announced an additional 15 appointments to director and principal level across the firms.
John Brazzale, Pitcher Partners Melbourne's managing partner, said it was clear that people choose to work for firms such as Pitcher Partners because of the great culture of mid-tier firms.
He also said he is delighted Mr Dall has chosen to join the Pitcher Partners team.
“We are pleased that Stuart will be joining the Melbourne tax team and I’m sure his skills and knowledge will help to expand opportunities for us in the corporate market.
"With our resources, depth of technical expertise and value-adding approach to client service, Pitcher Partners continues to be the firm of choice,” Mr Brazzale said.
Mr Dall’s appointment brings the total number of partners at Pitcher Partners Melbourne to 43.
