Some of the country’s leading tax experts have been recognised at the Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting Excellence Awards.

Thomson Reuters has announced the 2015 winners of the Australian Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting Excellence Awards, which recognise outstanding tax and finance teams, and individuals, who have added significant value for their organisations throughout the year.
Paul Brindle, managing director, APAC and EMEA, for the tax and accounting business of Thomson Reuters congratulated all winners on their achievements.
“It’s great to see this year’s winners of the Tax and Accounting Excellence Awards demonstrate a new level of innovative excellence and discuss how technology is enabling them to use real-time data to support business growth,” he said.
“We’re proud to support Australia’s tax and accounting professionals and encourage more innovative and value-added work practices.”
The 2015 award winners across eight categories include:
Accounting Firm of the Year: Pitcher Partners
Advisory Team of the Year: BDO
Innovative Tax Team of the Year: Qantas
Indirect Tax Team of the Year: Grant Thornton
Transfer Pricing Team of the Year: Transfer Pricing Solutions
Finance Team of the Year: CUA - Credit Union Australia
CFO of the Year: Tony Taylor, chief financial officer, CUA - Credit Union Australia
Graduate of the Year: Jeshan Velupillai, BDO
