MYOB and Carbon Group today announced a partnership that will allow Carbon Group to use MYOB’s range of products for small and large business clients.
MYOB head of partnerships, Simon Dennis, said that MYOB is “excited” to work alongside Carbon Group.
“Carbon has a clear strategy in place to offer a variety of business solutions to both their new and existing clients. This allows Carbon to cater for their ever-growing client base and expand on the market segments they target,” Mr Dennis said.
“Allowing clients to get paid faster has been of particular focus of our new products and corporate direction, and this is also a focus for Carbon Group. We know maintaining cash flow is vital for all businesses, but especially small business.”
MYOB recently became a founding signatory of the Business Council of Australia’s Australian Supplier Payment Code, which is a voluntary, industry-led initiative that outlines a number of best-practice standards regarding prompt and on-time payment to small businesses.
Carbon Bookkeeping partner Cheryl Knight said that working with MYOB will allow the practice to broaden its solution offerings.
“MYOB has one of the most extensive product ranges in accounting software, which has given us reason to review our existing solutions to help with our continued growth,” Ms Knight said.
“MYOB’s focus on payment solutions unlocks a whole new range of advisory opportunities for Carbon.”
Carbon Group recently confirmed its acquisition of Perth-based bookkeeping firm, R&B Bookkeeping, after announcing plans to expand nationwide.
