The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) has penned a deal with accounting and bookkeeping software provider, Receipt Bank.

The partnership moves to assist members looking for ways to improve transacting client data to their operating systems.

IPA chief executive, Andrew Conway, encouraged members to consider new technologies in their workflow and practice management.

“Accountants are often time-poor and innovations such a Receipt Bank that help improve efficiency and save time will provide significant benefit to our members,” Mr Conway said.

“Gone are the days of a client walking into their accountant’s office with a shoebox full of receipts; the sifting through and manual handling days are over,” Mr Conway said.

The IPA has also recently partnered with St.George to offer members concessional rates on home loans.

The association also announced a deal with Qantas late last year, to incentivise its members via the Qantas Business Rewards program when they attend major IPA events, participate in online CPD or automatically renew their membership.
