Xero acquired Hubdoc in a deal that initially cost $US60 million back in 2018.
Hubdoc was previously offered as a standalone add-on, but as part of the integration process, it will be now be included in Xero business edition plans from March 2020.
Hubdoc allows users to capture information from bills and receipts without the need for manual data entry.
Xero chief product officer Anna Curzon said the integration would help deliver a streamlined access for users.
“Xero first created single-ledger, double-entry accounting through the cloud. Now we are moving beyond that into the future, providing customers high-integrity data through Hubdoc, giving our customers the ability to see insights in real time,” Ms Curzon said.
“These are critical elements in helping us to create a seamless workflow for accountants and bookkeepers.”
