Document management platform SuiteFiles has integrated with practice management software Karbon to bring its contact and organisation data into the platform.
SuiteFiles CEO Andrew Sims was excited by the partnership and its ability to provide an improved service to SuiteFiles clients.
“This integration will benefit our existing customers and also holds future promise for our growth. We’re proud of our 99.6 per cent customer renewal rate which we’ve achieved by combining our intuitive platform with time-saving integrations,” said Mr Sims.
“In particular, this integration will enable existing shared customers of Karbon and SuiteFiles to be even more productive by combining their Karbon data with SuiteFiles’ features.”
“It also appeals to future SuiteFiles customers who are looking to add additional document management capabilities to their existing Karbon subscription or enhance their tech stack by adding both Karbon and SuiteFiles at once.”
SuiteFiles said the integration would go live on 22 March and would allow firms to bring their Karbon contact and organisation data into SuiteFiles as well as use it in templates, client portals and document signing.
Managing director of APAC at Karbon Jared Baker said the integration would streamline the work needed by accounting firms.
“Firms today want a single interface that reduces clicks and does what they expect it to do,” said Mr Baker.
“This integration will allow firms to use their contact and organisation data from a single source of truth, and auto-populate into SuiteFiles.”
SuiteFiles provided an example of how the integration would work for accounting firms.
“When a firm onboards a new client, they’ll create that organisation and the contacts under it in Karbon,” it said. “Then, via the integration, they can use that data to auto-populate an engagement letter, send it to their new client for signing, and have a secure spot for their new client to share files with them and collaborate on them.”
The firm said copying a connection-token was the only thing required to link Karbon to SuiteFiles.
Founded in 2014, Karbon supplies practice management software to accounting firms that it claims saves up to 16.5 hours per week per employee. The firm now has customers in 33 countries and employees in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
SuiteFiles was founded in 2012 with the goal of helping businesses become fully cloud-based and save time by making it easier to communicate with clients and internal teams.
