Wolters Kluwer has launched a cloud-based platform to speed up the research process for legal and accounting professionals.
CCH iKnowConnect provided a 360-degree view of legislation, enabling professionals to delve deep into legal texts, the software firm said. It offered a comprehensive view of the regulatory landscape by providing users direct access to commentary, cases and specific details.
Wolters Kluwer Asia Pacific managing director Izzy Silva said CCH iKnowConnect allowed in-depth research through an intuitive search facility.
“This next-generation platform delivers tax and legal research and content supported by the expertise of Wolters Kluwer's in-house editorial team, providing necessary assurance that every piece of information has undergone rigorous scrutiny and verification,” he said.
The platform interface featured advanced search functions and tailored suggestions for quicker and more accurate results, the firm said.
Content was categorised according to practice areas, so tax and legal professionals could access the full spectrum of Wolters Kluwer coverage on any subject area. Professionals working internationally could also access content from other jurisdictions within the same platform.
Digital content is published frequently and updated daily with the latest news and developments.
Wolters Kluwer APAC product manager Sarah Ingram said more than 4,000 customer insights helped shape the platform.
“Their experiences and insights serve as the compass guiding the company towards delivering tools that truly resonate with professionals,” said Ms Ingram.
This research platform follows the release earlier this month of new capabilities and integrations for Wolters Kluwer’s practice management and compliance software, CCH iFirm.
The software provider announced a raft of enhancements including a single-click feature that imports ledger data from CCH iFirm Client Accounting into a tax return in CCH iFirm Tax, helping users save time.
Wolters Kluwer also added a unique data mapping approach that connects key points in each tax return to the chart of accounts.
