As Reckon looks to continue its expansion into the UK and the US markets, the software provider has partnered with marketing tool provider MyFirmsApp, in an attempt to provide a more streamlined means of communication for accounting professionals and their clients.
The partnership consists of a major software integration between MyFirmsApp and Reckon’s document management solution, Virtual Cabinet.
Joel Oliver, CEO of MyFirmsApp, declared the partnership an “industry first” and said that working in tandem with Reckon will create a “new, deep-level integration”.
“Accountants will be able to share documents more quickly and easily with their clients, interacting on their smartphones anywhere, and at any time, and speeding up the approval process,” said Mr Oliver.
“Users can exchange and electronically sign documents, while the advanced push notification module will allow for effective communication to notify users that they have a document to view.”
Mr Oliver reiterated that the main focus of the new partnership was to deliver a closer interaction between accountants and their clients.
“With over 150,000 end users of the MyFirmsApp platform across the UK, Australia, America and other global communities, this breakthrough development will bring accountants and clients even closer together, with the ability to interact through a portal built directly into the firm’s own app.”
