BGL introduces data filters for budget changes
SMSF software provider BGL Corporate Solutions has released big data filters in preparation for the proposed superannuation changes.

BGL users will now be able to filter through and identify any member accountants subject to the proposed $1.6 million pension cap and $500,000 non-concessional contribution cap.
BGL managing director Ron Lesh said its collaboration with Amazon Elasticsearch has enabled the software company to provide critical information to its clients.
“Running reports just doesn’t cut it in 2016 – this is how we did things in 1997,” said Mr Lesh.
“SMSF administrators need to be able to filter, analyse and extract critical data in seconds to provide the services their clients expect.”
